Basic CPR for the Non-Professional (2.5 – 3.0 Hours)
- One Person Adult CPR with Mannequin Practice
- Child and Infant CPR instruction
- Procedures for Use of an Automatic External Defibrillator
- FBAO/Choking (Adult, Child & Infant)CPR Certification
- Opiate Overdose Identification and Treatment
Basic Life Support Training (BLS) for the Professional / Health Care Provider (3.0 – 5.0 Hours)
- One Person CPR With and Without Use of Bag Valve Masks
- Two Person CPR With and Without Use of Bag Valve Masks
- Practice with the Infant Mannequin
- AED Operation
- Performance Changeover
- Written Exam Required
- CPR Certification
First Aid Training (3 – 4 Hours)
Content includes but is not limited to:
- Basic Vital Signs
- Identification and First Aid Treatment of Serious Medical Conditions (Heart Attacks, Stroke, Diabetic Emergencies, Allergic Reactions, Accidental Poisonings, Overdoses, Environmental Emergencies)
- Instruction on Identification and Treatment of Various Injuries
- Instruction on Identification and Treatment of Life Threatening Accidents
Bloodborne Pathogens Training (.5 – 1.0 Hours)
Content includes:
- Basic Awareness Level Course for the EMS Worker/Healthcare Provider
- How To Identify and Protect Yourself Against the EMS Diseases of Concern
